No yachting trade outlet has reported the completion, so articles a reader finds still describe the deal as pending with a 30 September long stop.

Camper & Nicholsons traces its origins to 1782 and today runs fourteen offices with around 144 people, covering charter, sales, new build and design, refit, management, insurance and crew — including an office on Poseidonos in Alimos.
The sale nobody reported
Lai Sun Development agreed to sell eighty per cent of the business to Wave Expandary Limited for €40 million, valuing it at €50 million. Completion took place on 14 July 2026 and is recorded in the joint Lai Sun and HKEX announcement of that date. Lai Sun keeps 18.6 per cent.
Every yachting article we could find still describes the transaction as pending with a long stop of 30 September 2026. That is not a small correction: it is the difference between a firm about to change hands and one that already has.
It also puts Camper & Nicholsons alongside Burgess on the institutional side of an industry that was mostly founder-owned two years ago.
