CTC sits on Plataion in Kerameikos, under Alexandros Tsiotinis, with a walled garden and two small interior rooms. It holds one Michelin star, and its signature is a blind tasting: an eleven-course menu called Voyage that is revealed as it arrives rather than printed in advance.
Decide about the blind menu first
The format is not a gimmick and it is not for everyone. You are giving the kitchen the whole evening and agreeing not to know what is coming, which changes the social shape of a dinner as much as the culinary one.
A table of friends will enjoy it. A table where somebody needs to raise a business matter between courses probably will not. That is a useful thing to know before you have driven in from the coast.
The garden
Athens has a handful of restaurant gardens that are actually gardens rather than pavement with planters, and this is one. It is the reason the room is at its best between April and October, and the reason a Riviera household might make the drive at all when it has a sea view at home.
The star dates from the 2024 selection. We have not eaten here.
