DAM Voreiou Tomea & Anatolikis Attikis

Residence permit directorate · Ψαρρών 19, 153 51 Παλλήνη

The residence permit authority for Vari, Voula and Vouliagmeni — twenty-five kilometres inland, in the opposite direction from everything else in the process.

A quiet street below the Acropolis, a flag over the balconies.
Full name
Διεύθυνση Αλλοδαπών & Μετανάστευσης Βορείου Τομέα & Ανατολικής Αττικής
Address
Ψαρρών 19, 153 51 Παλλήνη
Serves
The municipality of Vari–Voula–Vouliagmeni This is the counter-intuitive fact of the whole set. The three wealthiest addresses on the Athens Riviera are administered from Pallini, inland and to the north-east, while their immediate neighbours Glyfada and Alimos go to Piraeus.

Not verified by telephone.
Distance
About 25 km from Vouliagmeni Straight-line and inland. In practice it is a cross-Attica drive on the Vari–Koropi road or the Attiki Odos, and in morning traffic it is not a short one. Tier B estimate — no authority publishes journey times for this route.

The Ministry of Migration and Asylum publishes a table of which authority is competent for which municipality. It is in Greek, it is not linked from anywhere obvious, and it is the only place this split is stated plainly.

The split, as it actually falls

Glyfada, Alimos and Elliniko-Argyroupoli go to the Southern Sector, Piraeus and Islands directorate in Piraeus. Vari, Voula and Vouliagmeni go to the North Sector and East Attica directorate here in Pallini.

There is no obvious geography to it — the boundary runs between two adjacent coastal municipalities — and no guide we could find mentions it. Everything written about relocating to the southern suburbs treats them as one unit.

The procedure is identical to the Piraeus office: electronic filing, summoned biometrics, an appointment to collect. Only the building is different, and it is forty minutes different.

Three firms, not thirty

We keep a short list of tax advisers and immigration lawyers who have actually run 5A applications to completion, and who answer email. Tell us your situation and we will make an introduction to the two or three that fit it, and tell you plainly where we have a commercial relationship and where we do not.

  • 01 A human reads it. Always.
  • 02 We name names, and we say why.
  • 03 Any commercial relationship is disclosed up front.
  • 04 Nothing you send us is sold to anyone.

Where we earn a referral fee we say so on the page it appears. Nothing in the editorial rankings is for sale. Read the charter.
