Divercity is a RIBA Chartered Practice with offices in Athens and London, run by Nikolas Travasaros in London, Dimitris Travasaros in Athens and Christina Achtypi.
What they have here
An apartment building in Glyfada and Voula House on the coast itself; an Ellinikon Villa published as concept design, with landscape by doxiadis+; and, in the northern suburbs, private houses at Psychiko and Filothei.
The best-known work is One Athens in Kolonaki, completed 2014: the conversion of Constantinos Doxiadis’s 1957 office headquarters into 26 apartments, duplexes, penthouses and townhouses.
The second office is the argument
Not as a letterhead. A household still living in London while a house is being specified in Attica has a real problem of drawing convention, contract language and physical availability, and one practice operating in both cities is the cleanest answer to it.
That matters more than it should, because the buying process for this household runs across two countries for a long time.
