Karolos Chanikian trained at the NTUA and took an MLA at Pennsylvania in 1992, working at Andropogon and with Peter Walker in the United States before founding the Athens practice in 1997.

One resort shore and one private house, both current, both on this coast. That is a narrower and more relevant record than a long portfolio elsewhere.
The half-empty house problem
A great deal of property on this coastline is used for part of the year. A garden does not pause. Design, construction and maintenance under one contract is the arrangement that survives that, and it is worth asking every landscape office whether they offer it.
