Restaurant, one Michelin star · Petrou Kokkali 1, Ilisia — the Megaron garden
A starred kitchen in the garden of the Athens Concert Hall, with its own herb garden and a vegetarian tasting menu the coast does not really offer. Concert either side of dinner.

Hytra is in the garden of the Athens Concert Hall at Ilisia, with balcony dining, à la carte alongside tasting menus, and herbs grown on site going into the kitchen. It holds one star from the 2024 selection.
The address problem
For years Hytra was on the roof of the Onassis Cultural Centre on Syngrou. It is not now. A good deal of the coverage still sends people there, and Onassis Stegi is a separate destination in its own right rather than a restaurant address.
Why a Riviera household should have it
Two reasons. The vegetarian menu, which is genuinely thought through rather than a plate of vegetables assembled under protest. And the pairing: a concert at the Megaron and dinner in its garden is a coherent evening in a city where most starred rooms are somewhere you go and then leave.
It sits in the same quarter as the Conrad and House of NYNN, which makes Ilisia the one part of Athens a coast household can do properly in a single half-day.
