Off-White occupies one of the curved white pavilions on the marina promenade, full-height glazing, a few doors from houses that have been trading for a century.
What the placement says
A retail mix is a statement about who the landlord thinks is coming. Loro Piana, Zegna, Rolex and Dior describe one customer. Off-White and Golden Goose describe that customer's children.
Both sit on the same two hundred metres, which says the marina is not betting on a single age band. On a coast where the wealth arriving is a family rather than an individual, that is a reasonable bet.
