The official Rolex retailer on the Athens Riviera sits on the marina promenade at Vouliagmeni, operated by Patseas. The boutique is small and timber-lined and reads more like a private room than a shop floor.
What an authorised dealer is, and is not
It is not a shop where you choose a watch and pay for it. For the steel professional models, demand has exceeded supply long enough that allocation is discretionary, and the dealer decides.
How allocation actually works has its own file, and the short version is that a relationship with one dealer, purchases they can fulfil, and patience are the entire mechanism. Registering an interest at four boutiques in four cities is the approach that does not work.
